If you buy new and have a warranty your safest bet is to have all work done at the dealer until you no longer have coverage. I do not even recommend customers bring me bikes in warranty just because ANY reason they have to get out of a repair most will take. Some care and some do not ,but often the manufacturer is relying on their dealers to determine who and what gets covered with the manufacturer having final say. It is NOT uncommon for modifications to void warranties and this is with all brands, buying a pimped out bike is usually covered by the dealers willingness to cover their customer. I would bet the fine print on the reflash says no warranty and race use only etc.

If the answer to all the above it yes then you may have something about the dealer.

They replaced the power commander (I removed and re-installed it) same. 300 miles later the bike was cutting out. Sure, Joe in service worked for Ducati, how can this go wrong. They offered an Arrow exhaust and dyno tune (power commander).
